This original drawing brings together my love of lettering, languages, nature and folklore. Hand-drawn in black and orange ink, the fox is formed from calligraphy that reads gumiho in Korean. The gumiho, or nine-tailed fox, is an animal from Korean mythology similar to the Japanese kintsune and other Asian mythical creatures. The gumiho can transform into a beautiful woman, often to seduce men and lead them to their doom. So she's not to be messed with.

Full description
An expressive original drawing of a fox formed from Korean letters (see Inspiration for more info). Every stroke is painted by hand. A perfect gift for people who love animals, calligraphy or Asian folklore. It's smaller than A6 so a great way to own some affordable mini art.
The artwork is 13.4cm x 9.9cm and unframed, black and orange ink on white card.
The drawing will be sent via first class post, in a biodegradable plastic sleeve and cardboard-backed envelope.
