A very warm welcome to my collection of original artwork. I just love creating pieces that captures the rugged beauty of the landscape in a moment in time.
If you are buying artwork as a gift, I can gift wrap and send it on to the U.K. based recipient. Just send me the details at checkout.
Prior to posting, framed pieces will be covered with glassine paper before being carefully encased in a protective wrap. Wherever possible, I reuse wrapping materials I have collected. The artwork will then be secured in a heavy duty mailing box. For unframed pieces, they will be mailed in a reinforced, hard backed envelope.
(81) I've called this acrylic work, "The Quiet Glen". Glen Clova is part of the Cairngorms National Park and is known locally as the 'quiet glen' as there are fewer tourists along its numerous pathways and routes through hills, woodland and mountain ranges. This would make an ideal gift for anyone who enjoys the great outdoors.

I have applied thick layers of acrylic paint on to a board using brushes, a knife and various mark making tools. The mountains have been painted in cool colours to give a sense of wilderness and distance. I've used a palette knife for this part of the work, ensuring that the layers join and overlap seamlessly. The middle section has been painted using a variety of brushes to depict grasslands leading down to small lochans. I have used, needles and twigs to apply paint around the water to suggest the range of flowers and grasses that thrive near water.
This is an original, one-off, acrylic painting on a sealed cradled wooden panel. The art work has been varnished is ready to hang.
Total size is 30 x 25 x 2.5 cms. I have signed the painting at the back. Also included is a note of authentication.
I post items by first class Royal Mail within 3 working days of receiving payment. I take great care to wrap each item carefully, using re-cycled materials wherever possible.
