One of my smaller pictures. Cute wee black lamb. Just fun to make.

Full description

UNIQUE: Handmade 'Black Sheep' Picture.

Gallery price: £29.00, from me: £19.50.

'Black Sheep' is made completely from glass which has been fused in my kiln. There is no enamel, glass paint or any other materials used, this picture is 100% pure bullseye fusing glass!

'Black Sheep' started as a sheet of transparent bullseye glass. I then added the details by using a combination of frit glass, sheet glass, and glassline. To give it a little touch of sparkle I then added tiny bits of gold metallic dichroic glass to give a bit of bling.

The final stage of creating my glass picture was the firing. 'Black Sheep' was placed in my kiln and fired over night. To successfully fuse all the elements of this picture it was fired to 1400 oC.

Frame: 12.5cm x 12.5cm square x 3.5cm depth.

Picture: 7cm x 7cm square x 6mm thickness (100% glass).

Fitting on back for standing on shelf. Also the frame is 3.5cm depth which allows you to stand it up-right.
