A handmade one of a kind collectors cloth art doll.
Sally has been inspired by the Suffragette movement in the early part of the 20th Century.
Her costume is based on traditional womens wear of that time. She has custom white bloomers, chemise and corset and she wears a pretty floral cream cotton skirt with decorative tucks at the hem.
Her blouse is cut with a fashionable leg of mutton sleeve popular at the time.
She wears her factory apron and Suffragette sash and is off with her placard to march for Votes for Women.
Her hat has been custom made by me from plaited straw and decorated with paper flowers. Her hair is made from Auburn bamboo and cotton mix yarn and secured into a pretty style of the time.
Her face has been hand embroidered by me also. Sally would make a lovely addition to any doll collection especially for someone with an interest in women's social history.
This is a handmade doll with small and delicate parts not intended as a toy. For decorative display only, not suitable for persons under 14 years or vulnerable adults.
Small parts could be a choke hazard.
Keep away from fire and sources of ignition.
