I'm quite new to woodturning and thoroughly enjoy it for the relaxation as well as the ability to turn odd bits of wood into pieces like the ones I have here.

Full description

This is a Gold Streamline Twist Pen with a Padauk body finished in a polished coating; a stylish and easy to use pen due to its light weight and grip size.

Padauk is from Central and tropical west Africa and has a very unique reddish orange coloration, and the wood is sometimes referred to by the name vermillion. This wood species has a number of variant spellings and pronunciations, with a few being predominant. Padauk is the most common spelling, followed by padouk, paduk, and paduak.

The overall length is 13.1 cm and body thickness is 1.3 cm at the widest part with a weight of 25 grams.

This pen comes in a velvet sleeve. A black Cross style refill is included, but could be changed to blue or red if you so desire, and takes easily replaceable standard Cross style refills.

To replace the ink, grasp the upper and lower pen sections and pull apart, you will see the plastic top of the refill. With a light pressure unscrew the old refill then screw in the replacement. When placing the upper and lower pen halves together ensure any grain of the wood or acrylic patterns line up before pushing the halves together.

All my pens are handmade and hand finished to ensure they are all unique.

Postage to the UK is included in the list price.
