I have always been interested in English language and love how local phrases/ sayings can mean something to different to locals. The phrase 'Ey up me duck' is an endering/ friendly way people in Nottingham and the Midlands used to greet each other when I was younger. (I'm sure many people still use it!) But after moving back to Nottingham a couple of years ago I introduced my daughters to the duck phrase, and decided to make these cute earrings off the back of it.

These little silver duck earrings are so cute and make a great gift. The backing card wording is optional (if you're not from Nottingham or the midlands you may have no idea what 'Ey up me duck' means)! They're made from recycled sterling silver and measure approximately 5mm x 5mm. They have been made individually made by hand, so no 2 ducks are identical which I think adds to their charm! They come with a standard butterfly back.
