Full description
A one of a kind textile art unicorn sculpture.
I was inspired to make this piece by medieval tapestries depicting a unicorn, they have an elegant long face and long twisting horns.
I had the perfect vintage brocade fabric which has a slight shining quality, once I had decided on the base I set to work hand drawing a pattern.
This piece sits on top of a hand made wooden base I then painted with shimmering copper trims, glitters and a golden vine of leaves.
Measuring aprox 21 inches high and 11 inches across at the legs she makes the perfect piece for displays and decor
I finished by adding a vintage fluer de le style brooch, a beautiful large piece worn with age I added shimmering pearlescent stickle to fill tge missing crystals.
Vintage trim winds around the body and down the base, she is topped with more glitters and embellishments.
Hair and tail are made of plant fibre
