I saw these used jars for sale online and immediately had an idea of how to turn them into something beautiful and useful.

These up-cycled glass jars have been lovingly hand-decorated with 2mm macrame cord, jute ribbon and jute twine.
Ideal for holding small plants, battery tea-lights or battery fairy lights. .
I love the gentle glow of candlelight and these macrame jars create interesting shapes and patterns in the way the light glows through the decoration.
A beautiful way to make you feel cosy and warm on a cold or rainy (or both!) day.
Treat yourself or buy as a gift.
Each jar comes with one battery powered tea-light.

The jars measure 6cm in diameter at the rim, 8mm diameter at the base and 8cm in height.

They are available in 4 colours:
- natural/cream,
- red
- red and white,
- green.

As natural items are being used and handcrafted, there may be slight imperfections in the jute or cord. This cannot be helped. I actually think that it adds to the natural charm and uniqueness of each piece.
