Citrine is the yellow form of Quartz, and gets its colour from traces of iron in the Quartz.
Natural Citrine is usually a pale lemon colour - deeper yellow and orange-yellow stones are generally produced by heat-treating Amethyst.
These untreated stones have a pale lemon colour and excellent, almost luminous clarity.
Citrine is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
It is thought to bring happiness and abundance, to absorb and ground all negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Known as the 'merchant's stone', Citrine is believed to attract wealth and good fortune.

Full description
Each earring features a 7x10mm nuggets of genuine Citrine, topped with five 3x2mm sparkly faceted glass rondelles.
The Citrine nuggets are roughly oval in shape, and are a translucent, pale lemon with good clarity.
The mink coloured, faceted glass beads have an electroplated coating that gives them extra sparkle and flashes of purple and gold when they catch the light.
The beads are hung from gold vermeil ear-wires.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold, and the wires are stamped '925'.
These drop earrings measure approximately 1.25 inches (3cm), excluding the ear-wires.
Your earrings will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a small organza gift bag.
Price includes delivery within the UK.
