A4 print of my artwork 'The Iriomote Cat'.
Endemic to the japanese island of Iriomote, Okinawa prefecture - given away by its markings, the iriomote cat is a sub-species of the leopard cat. These felines are nocturnal and are typically active during twilight hours; in the daytime they can be found snoozing in tree hollows or caves.
As of 2007, there were roughly an estimated 100 individuals remaining, which sadly means the IUCN recognises them to be critically endangered.
10% OF PROFITS FROM THE SALE OF EACH PRINT WILL BE DONATED TO THE IUCN TO FUND THEIR CONSERVATION RESEARCH.
