This listing is for a PDF sewing pattern and photo tutorial to make fabric pumpkins, in 5 sizes. This is a project suitable for complete beginners, and is a quick and fun make. Fabric pumpkins make the perfect autumnal decoration for your home. PDF will be emailed to you within 24 hours of purchase.
A full photo tutorial takes you step by step through the construction and sewing.
The pattern is for a mix of hand and machine sewing, but it can be sewn entirely by hand.
Materials required (not supplied)
Fabric 1 fat quarter or more, depending on the size of pumpkin made.
Felt for the stalk scraps 3 inches square or larger. Wool felt gives a better result, but you can use synthetic. Die cut felt leaves (ours were from ) or green felt to cut your own
Polyester Stuffing
Quilting cotton or any other strong thread you need to be able to pull it tight and it not break
Embroidery silks or crochet cotton
Long tapestry or doll making needle
Equipment (ideal but not essential)
Sewing machine
Rotary cutter
Cutting board and rulers
This pattern is designed for personal use only. Copying or distribution of this pattern is specifically prohibited, either physically or digitally.
