I've always loved a classic boater hat, as they're both stylish and practical. It was one of the first styles I ever made when learning millinery, and it's become a popular staple for both my ready to wear and bespoke hats.

A timeless percher style straw boater hat with a black petersham band and bow, made from a natural coloured straw in my Kent millinery studio.
This vintage inspired percher hat, designed to sit jauntily on one side of the head, with a bow on the right hand side. It is finished with a petersham band inside.
I make all my headwear using traditional millinery techniques, with alll blocking, finishing and trimming done by hand. Perfect as for spring and summer outdoor weddings, garden parties or to wear to the races.
As it's a percher style hat this smaller than a normal head fitting (at 51cm), so black hat elastic has been added to help hold it in place. This can be changed to mid brown, light brown, grey, blonde or white coloured upon request, message with your preference when you order.
Ready to send by Royal Mail, via Special Delivery in the UK, and tracked or tracked and signed internationally. Your hat will come nestled in acid free tissue paper within one of my hat boxes, which is also ideal for storing your hat when you're not wearing it.
Unsized, as percher styles are one sized fits all.
Approximate maximum diameter of the hat & brim width 30 cm; length 31.5cm; height 5.5cm.
I try to photograph colours accurately but display variations can occur. Swatches of some fabrics may be available (postage applies outside of the UK).
