This book is the result of a partnership between me (Grace) and my colleague. We began by teaching an Open-Learning course at Queen's University called 'The Celtic Spirit and Literature.' The following year we taught the course at the ancient site of Emain Macha, Armagh.
In the excitement of all this experience - this book was born! We hope you enjoy it!

Have you ever wondered about the ancient Celts or had an interest in Celtic identity, spirituality or the Celtic 'spirit' in Irish and Anglo-Irish literature? This book, written by Grace Clunie (M.A. Celtic Studies) and Tess Maginess (Ph.D. and Professor of Literature at Queen's University Belfast) is a wonderful overview of all of this. THE CELTIC SPIRIT AND LITERATURE is a beautifully presented, illustrated, hard-back book - an ideal gift and an inspiration to read.
