The inspiration behind this artwork lies in my deep connection to the soothing embrace of the seaside. Growing up near Portsmouth in the UK, I have always been drawn to the coast. The way the sun kisses the sand, the sound of waves gently caressing the shore, and the joy that people experience at the beach have been a constant source of inspiration for me as an artist.
When I created this oil painting, I wanted to capture the essence of a perfect day at the beach. The hotels in the background add an element of elegance, while the people on the sand bring the scene to life. I aimed to create a piece that not only resonates with those who share my love for the coast but also serves as a window to relaxation and happiness for anyone who gazes upon it.
