I love to use scraps of fabric etc so no fabrics are wasted. Many of the fabrics I use are vintage and older, recycled or relieved from scrap bins.

Full description
I created the top of this pillow from scraps of a variety of blue patterned fabrics that I kantha-stitched onto a piece of cotton. I then decorated it with 3 rosettes, one blue and two red, made from strips of fabric I also added buttons and beads. The back is made from a furnishing fabric that I attached to the top with blanket stitch. The inside is filled with English lavender from my Father's garden.
The pillow measures 10cm square.
