When I lived in Hackney it was a little less glamorous than it is now. I was invited to contribute a series of postcard sized artworks to an exhibition in Brixton and decided to celebrate the beautiful places close to home. The Picture House didn't exist back then, the building was a night club and then closed, but once renovated and opened, this was a must add to my series.
