Monoprinting using a Gelli Plate is simple and fun without the need for a printing press. The gratification is immediate, each print is truly unique! For this print I have used Ferns from my garden.
Firstly, I create a textured background, pressing a variety of recycled objects onto the plate. I then create layers by pressing the Ferns onto the Gelli plate to pull a print that captures the beautiful detail left by the ferns.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
'Fern Duo' is a monoprint created using a Gelli plate and acrylic paints. I use the ferns from my garden, I press them into the inked Gelli plate to pull a one-off print capturing the beautiful detail left by the fern. NO TWO PRINTS ARE EVER THE SAME!
The Ferns are printed in Paynes Grey on a blue/green textured background.
This original signed artwork is supplied in a contemporary grey frame measuring 24.5cm x 29.7cm. The frame can be used free-standing or hung on a wall.

Artwork size - 190mm x 240mm
Materials: Mixed media paper, acrylic paint, textures and Ferns from my garden.
