Full description

Tiger Drypoint Print limited edition of 6.

Hand printed on 200gm acid free watercolour paper in black oil based ink.

Hand printed on an intaglio printing press on my dining room table!

Image Size approx 15 x 11cm

Paper size approx 22 x 28.5cm

Supplied cellowrapped and mounted with an ivory mount ready to be framed.

Very cute and unusual.

Drypoint Print:

A technique of intaglio engraving in which a hard steel needle is used to incise lines in a metal, usually copper plate, with the rough burr at the sides of the incised lines often retained to produce a velvety black tone in the print. Only a few prints can be produced due to the fragile nature of the technique.
