Full description
This is a truly unique item that will not fail to give you plenty of pleasure. It makes an excellent choice as a gift or as a statement piece for your own home. The piece is beautiful as is with its amazing colour choices of stained glass. Placed on a sunny window sill, the colours will flood out creating another dimension to this piece. Inspired by the various colours as the sun sets and reflects on the moon giving it that orange harvest moon colour.
Each piece of glass had been hand cut, ground to shape and wrapped in copper foil. The pieces are then soldered together and washed, waxed and buffed to a shine.
The glass is then fitted into the wood which has been treated and Osmo oil applied. The solid oak wood is local and naturally felled.
