Every month in 2023, I'm making an extra special, limited edition heart.
The ninth in the series is this beautiful soft-green micro-check heart adorned with a stunning woven ribbon featuring delicate deep-pink lyre flowers and the tracery of green foliage on a cream background.
September's Heart of the Month is generously filled with gloriously fragrant and locally grown Hampshire lavender and is finished with a round wooden button, natural hemp twine hanging ties, a green and white gingham ribbon bow and an extra special cursive script 'heatherandhome' label on the reverse side.
Tie onto baskets, loop over cupboard door handles, drawer knobs or window latches, hang on coat peg racks or kitchen dresser hooks...

The lyre flower is also known as the heart flower, bleeding heart flower, lady-in-a-boat, lady's locket, squirrel corn and in Latin, Lamprocapnos (formerly Dicentra).
