Granny squares remind me of my youth and seeing the plain black tote bag… it was screaming for a makeover. So, I upcycled it with these funky granny squares for a new retro feel.

This granny square tote is a great funky, retro accessory that can be used for shopping or a handbag.
This upcycled bag is made with a total of 40 individually crocheted granny squares that have been sewn on a simple black tote bag to ensure structure.
The bag measures approximately 36 cm x 30 cm x 12 cm.
