Full description
I was so excited making this beautiful stained glass hummingbird. The thin long beak and their ability to hover in mid air are only a couple of reasons why we are hypnotised by these fascinating creatures. If you like colour, then this has heaps of it. Take a look on my instagram to view my reel. This would be perfect to perch on a steady branch in a garden or suspended from a ceiling in a conservatory so you can view it in every direction.
Made using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method each piece of stained glass is hand cut, shaped on a grinder and then wrapped in copper foil. They are then soldered together and wirework attached. The completed piece is then washed and a black patina applied. To finish, a wax and a polish makes the piece gleam.
