Each of these illustrations has a connection to something beyond being visual representations of the short stories in the book. The full moon pawprint was inspired by a photograph I had taken of the moon reflected in ripples of wet sand. The crow skull is part of my collection of natural objects. The rumbled bedsheet represents a presence in the tale but is also a nod to a favourite ghost story by the late great M R James , O Whistle.

Full description
Three beautiful gothic art cards featuring my original illustrations for Tales in Sombre Tones, a horror anthology created with author Sean Walter. They feature a crow skull, the full moon reflected in a wet pawprint and a human face formed by a crumpled bedsheet.
The beautiful book itself is available separately.
Each card comes with a matching white envelope and individually packaged in compostable cello bags.
