I started embroidering toadstools when I began following the journey of Nancy Bradley-Carter aka the Avocado Fairy on Instagram in her battle with a brain tumour. I helped raise money to help Nancy realise her dream to see the Northern Lights and I also sold lots of berets embroidered with little toadstools and held an online auction of vintage haberdashery to raise money for the Brain Tumour Charity.
I will be selling more toadstool berets soon - so watch this space!:
