Full description
I was inspired to make this silver swan pendant by a swan family I've watched growing up this summer, as I've walked my dog by the canal. It has been completely handmade. The pendant is based on a hammer textured sterling silver teardrop. The swan is hand saw- pierced with a copper beak. I have bezel set an oval moonstone to represent the swan's beautiful pure white feathers. The pendant hangs from a handmade bail. It would make an original handmade gift for anyone who loves birds or nature.
The pendant hangs from a handmade sterling silver bail and comes with a 16 inch recycled silver, diamond cut, 1.2mm curb chain and is presented in a black cardboard box as shown in the photographs.
Please note that both silver and copper will tarnish and will need to be polished. To minimise tarnishing, it is recommended that the items are kept dry and stored in the box that they come in.
