Im fussy about the bags I make, I prefer them to be made fully in heavyweight upholstery fabric so they have form and longevity, this bag is just that.
This is a very good sized drawstring bag perfect for knitting or crochet or just any use!
The main fabric is a lovely heavyweight red tartan argyle sheep print on a natural base and I have paired it with a heavyweight very light coffee cream with white spots cotton. Inside the bag is lined with a natural cotton and around the whole circumference are pockets in varying widths, a total of 5, 2 being perfect for needles up to approximately 28cm (11) in length, the others for notions, patterns etc. There is also a lobster clasp on webbing perfect for holding stitch markers or maybe keys.
On the top are 2 strong cotton webbing handles for carrying and it closes with 2 plaited cotton drawstrings that close by pulling each end.
The whole bag is Interfaced which gives it structure along with the deep boxed base.
I have demonstrated the bag filled (alternative print, but identical set up) - I have approximately 500g of yarn plus my project and there is still plenty of space. Contents and alternative print bag not included.
