Do you keep losing your cable needle when cabling? I do, constantly, so decided to invent something to help - this was the result! A caddy that lies over your armchair or sofa with a large, strong magnet sewn in that will securely hold your cable needle in place.
Please note only magnetic cable needles will work with this, one cable needle is supplied with the caddy, other items not included.
This would also work perfectly as a sewing organiser with the magnet for needles, pins and scissors, let me know via optional box if you don’t need the cable needle and I can replace it with thread snips.
The magnet is sewn in vertically so it can be used with narrow armed chairs as well as sofas, shown in photo 7.
The whole caddy is wadded so you can use it to poke your pins and needles into. I have also weighted each end with washers to help the caddy stay in place. Each end has a handy pocket which can hold your row counter, scissors, tape measure etc or even remote controls. These are interfaced for form. Each caddy is made from 100% cotton (pattern placement may vary) and lined with coordinating fabric. The whole is topstitched for form and strength.
