The necklace is available to order in two different lengths.
Packaging:
Your item will be packaged in a May & Mabel branded gift box. Whilst box sizes may vary, the design is always consistent with those shown in the listing photographs. Enclosed in the box will be a dated anti-tarnish paper strip to help maintain your jewellerys shine. Please refer to my Care section for more details on how to look after your sterling silver jewellery.
Care:
When your jewellery arrives with you it will have a beautiful shiny appearance and will include an anti-tarnish paper strip within the box (you may choose to replace the strip every few months, but this is not essential). However, care and sometimes cleaning is required to keep your item sparkling.
925 Sterling Silver is made up of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper and it can naturally tarnish due to oxidisation. The process of oxidisation may occur quickly if jewellery is exposed to a damp atmosphere, immersed in water or comes into contact with perfumes, lotions or other cosmetics. It is therefore recommended that you never immerse your sterling silver in water or wear it in the shower and try to limit its exposure to such cosmetics or chemicals.
The likelihood of tarnish is also reduced if you gently clean items after each use. Simply wipe the piece with a soft cloth and store it in a re-sealable plastic bag or box.
