. Summer Harmony is a small landscape oil painting 24x18x1.5 inches on canvas of a summer meadow and flowers with a swallow. It is art nouveau and semi abstract in style and very vibrant in colour. A swallow hovers over the meadow to the left and below her there are fields of wheat with wild flowers edging the fields.This is part of a series of paintings that try to capture the exuberance of Sussex fields and farmland in the summertime. Swallows feature often in my paintings as they are quite simply beautiful little birds and are only in the UK for the summer so it is a happy thing to see them.
