Limited edition Troll Cross pendant in solid silver.
This is a fabulously heavy silver pendant - Perfect gift for your husband or boyfriend.
Norse legend has it that these were hung above a door or window, to prevent trolls or evil spirits from entering and harming people or property. It can also be a piece of iron worn as an amulet to ward off malevolent magic.
No coincidence I think that it also forms the rune Othila - which among other things stands for "Home".
I sculpted a model and used it to sand cast this pendant out of scrap silver from my workshop.
It was then polished and given a patina to make the shape really stand out.
It weighs a hefty 10.5 grams and has been hallmarked at Sheffield Assay Office with the British standard marks for sterling.

The hoop will accommodate my 1.5 mm and 2 mm leather necklaces, but if you would like a thicker cord I will be happy to change the hoop to fit.
