A cheerful and colourful handmade sensory fidget lap quilt: the ideal present for anyone suffering with Alzheimer’s or dementia. This activity mat is made of sixteen patchwork squares, eight with various activities to entertain restless fingers and sooth restless minds end the other eight quilted for texture.
Activities include buttons, netting with beads and a ring, a pocket with hidden fidget toy, various textures, sequin colour change fabric, a smooth wooden ring and wooden beads on elastic.
The mat is 39cm by 40cm and the backing is also a colourful printed cotton.
Fiddle mats can also be made in a specific them or colours, or with specified activities if required - please contact me.
