Hand stitched A6 notebook using my hand marbled paper for the covers. There are 96 pages of 90gsm plain white paper. Ideal for keeping in your bag, use this book to keep track of those all important lists, or perhaps jot down notes, thoughts and ideas on your travels! This book would make a lovely gift for a stationery lover who loves to write and doodle on blank paper pages. Book dimensions: 10.8cm x 15.2cm x 1.8cm
Each sheet of my hand marbled paper is a one-off. For this pattern I have used gouache paints on a traditional bath of carrageenan seaweed, mixing the paints to create my own colour palette. Using lightly waxed blue thread and the ancient bookbinding skill of Coptic stitching, which leaves the spine exposed, this book lies flat when open. Carefully made by hand with quality workmanship at the core, each book is measured, cut, folded, glued and stitched by me in my studio and is completely unique. Due to its handmade nature the pattern may have tiny variations or imperfections; this adds charm and character to every piece I create.
