Looking for unique gifts? I created my little paper animals, hand made from recycled books, to decorate my home and bookshelves. They are intended to be three-dimensional "drawings" - I don't use any pattern or wire structure beneath the papier-mâché. Each one is therefore unique and has its own character. This little paper okapi with hand-painted stripes and expression is exactly the decoration I would love to have on my Christmas mantel or in my home all year round. Ideal size for mantel or shelf decor.
These animal decorations are hand made from papier-maché and acrylic paint by me in my home studio in Scotland. They combine my loves of books and animals.
These ornaments make the perfect unique gift to awaken joy in your recipient and also make unusual home accents or book shelf decor.
