This yarn jumped out at me from the shelf due to the beautiful, bold colour. And it just sang baby blanket. Pastels are great for little ones, but there’s something special about a bold, bright colour which stands out - and as we know bold colours are easier do baby eyes to define than pale.

Hand knitted emerald green baby blanket, knitted with soft acrylic yarn.
This boldly coloured blanket is perfect for little girls and boys. It’s the perfect size for a pram, Moses basket, pushchair, car seat, lap snuggles, cuddles, and for use in an incubator.
Emerald City is also a great size for little one to carry around once they’re mobile, and for graduation into a blanket for favourite dolls and teddies as the child grows.
This lightweight blanket is ideal for use in the summer months, but will also keep little ones cosy throughout autumn and winter.
This soft blanket will rapidly become a firm favourite of the lucky recipient, and bring out the green-eyed monster in those who envy it.
Machine washable at up to 40C.
Can be tumble dried on a cool setting, but best air dried on the line or radiator. It will dry quickly.
