Experimenting with cable effects in my Chunky Merino Headbands I have come up with 2 variations which add a bit of texture. One is an alternating cable/rib, the other is a staggered cable.

Very soft and warm these bands have plenty of stretch. This 80% merino blend has small coloured neps which give a lovely finish to a plain colour. This new cabled design is simple but effective and will hold its shape well.

These bands are best washed in a cool handwash using a specialist wool detergent.

As with all my hats and bands this has been knitted on the round so no seams.

All of this range of bands are approx 11cm deep. The large will be made 1-2 cm deeper. if you would like a wider or or thiner band in either of the 2 cable design please email me with your requirements.
