WELCOME to Isobel Robinson (formerly Lillibets Millinery) on Folksy. I'm delighted to be featured alongside the talented artisan makers of the UK and hope you enjoy browsing my designs.
Each of my creations has been designed and made by myself at my home studio in Riddlesden in West Yorkshire. Overlooking the rolling hills and rugged moorland of Bronte Country, I continue to be inspired by the beautiful surroundings, dotted with the remnants of industrial heritage of bygone eras.
My shop combines my passion for two mediums - millinery and jewellery. I love to create wearable fashion accessories that enhance your self-confidence and define your individual style. That said, if you have an idea in mind you'd like creating, please contact me as I'm always happy to discuss a bespoke design that truly expresses your style.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Additional terms
I take great care to produce heirloom quality pieces that create a lasting memory of a special event. I do appreciate that it may be difficult to judge how styles will suit online, so I allow returns/exchanges within 7 days of receipt (overseas customers please contact within 7 days). This excludes any bespoke options beyond the style of fastening or side of head where offered. Returns must be unworn with tags intact and in the original hat box. Any damage, including to the hat box, will incur a charge to cover replacement costs. All return postage costs are covered by buyer unless faulty. Bespoke headpieces, or those made in different colours to the listed hats, are strictly non-returnable due to their personalised nature.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
This glamorous and feminine bow headband hat is suitable for so many occasions - weddings, races, high tea, cocktail parties to name a few. It's neutral beige colour makes it versatile enough to wear time and time again.
Handmade in sinamay fabric, the base is shaped using traditional wooden millinery blocks before hand-sewing the trim and lining in silk dupion for a more opaque and couture finish. The bow itself is hand-sculpted using steam to give a much softer and elegant appearance.
One size fits all. The hat is designed to perch on top of you head, so does not need a head fitting. The base measures 9cm from front to back, and 29cm from side to side (excluding trim).
Bespoke colours available. I offer a complimentary worldwide swatch service so please do request a fabric sample if you are matching to an outfit.
Each headpiece is handmade at my home studio in Riddlesden, West Yorkshire. Please allow 10 working days for dispatch. Isobel Robinson headpieces come beautifully presented in a keepsake box. Delivery is by Tracked24 within the UK, or Tracked services overseas.
