Full description
This large coat rack has been created on a beautiful piece of reclaimed yew.
The wood has been carefully planed and given a lick of woodwork treatment prior to starting work.
The two robins and the branch they sit on have all been created using watercolour paint, watercolour pencils and polychromo pencils.
The plaque itself measures approximately 76.5x18.5cm at its widest points.
Featuring 3 double cast iron hooks gives plenty of space to hang coats or other garments.
This is a completely original and one-off piece, painstakingly handcrafted over many hours.
On completion, the plaque has been varnished with a light artists spray varnish to offer protection and artwork longevity. Although varnished, I would not recommend placing this item in a wetdamp environment.
You can choose to hang via hooks at the back or have countersunk holes added at each end, please let me know which you'd prefer at checkout.
