The image of the Green Man has for centuries symbolised the cycle of life, death and rebirth apparent in the changing seasons. While he is perhaps more familiar in his traditional leafy green livery when he heralds the beginning of Beltane in May here in England, in New Zealand this same month marks the end of Summer and the final harvest with Samhain. So in honour of my kiwi kinfolk I created an amber hued, harvest festival inspired cousin to Jack-in-the-Green, Rustle!

Rustle: A stunning articulated relief of the ever-popular Green Man, but in his Autumnal splendour! Individually hand cut stained glass leaves are crafted from a selection of 10 beautiful green and amber glass varieties. The leaves are articulated and layered to achieve a multifaceted profile adorned with decorative solder copperwork, bead details and glass pebble eyes.
Ready to wall-mount. Equally beautiful in the home or in a sheltered spot in the garden.
