I am only accepting orders from customers in England, Scotland and Wales at the moment, as the GPSR for EU and NI comes into effect. For UK customers (exc NI) I offer free postage as standard, using Royal Mail 2nd Class and I always try to get your order in the post within 24 hours of it being made.
I've added postage upgrades to some of my more popular Christmas items, so you can choose to pay to have your item posted with Royal Mail Tracked 24, or Royal Mail Tracked 48. If you'd like to buy an item that doesn't have this option and you want to get it faster, just drop me a message before you buy and I can add this to the item.
I wanted to create an illustrated map that showcased the North Northumberland coastline (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty), stretching from Berwick-upon-Tweed to Seahouses and featuring seven species of coastal bird found locally, including a Cormorant, Brent Geese, Arctic Terns, a Purple sandpiper, an Eider duck, an Oystercatcher and Puffins. Each illustration was hand-painted in watercolour with pen detailing and then labels were handwritten in a loose, calligraphic style. The hand-drawn map cartouche features two of the places these birds can be seen - the Farne Islands and the Holy Island of Lindisfarne and an information section at the bottom of the map includes more information about the birds and their habitats. Part of my Coastal Birds of North Northumberland collection - 25% of the profit from sales of items in this collection will be donated to the National Trust to support their work looking after the Northumberland coast.
