Neptune, Poseidon or old man of the sea the pagan God is known by many names but he is primarily the protector of our oceans. The Pembrokeshire coast is unique by being an ancient landscape surrounded by the UK's only marine national park. This has defined my work all my life and continues to be my I inspiration.

Full description
Neptune green man of the sea is a wall plaque sculpted by the artist P R Martin. Features the imagined face of the pagan God Neptune surrounded by sea shells and star fish woven in to his hair swaying with the currents of the sea. Cold and hot cast in cement and lead finished in acrylic and guilders paste to give a feel of weathered Bronze with a verdigris patina. Weighs up to 6.2kg 40cm high by 30cm wide by 8cm deep. Signed, dated and numbered by the artist has a sturdy metal hanger on the back. Waterproof it can be hung on a wall outside in the garden or interior.
