Full description
A round navy wool yarn base with a handmade striped felt ball make up this delicately pretty brooch.
The base is woven from dark navy wool, the central ball is made from british fleece that I dyed with plant dyes before wet-felting in layers to give a mix of purple lilac and pink shades. The centre is embellished with tiny clear glass beads.
A brooch pin is stitched securely to the reverse.
Measures approx 3" (9 cms) across
