My time living in Brussels was amazing and I got to see and experience a different culture, it was good to se the French and Flemish people side by side.

Winsor and Newton watercolour on Winsor and Newton watercolour paper

This is a line and wash watercolour of the pretty town of Mechelen in Flanders, Belgium. It is of Flemish origin and all the ornate houses are Flemish in design. This is where the farmers sold and traded their grain. The English for this is oat yard. The house date back to the 1500’s.

Thank you for looking at my work and if you have any questions please don’t hesitate to message me.
