A purple fire breathing dragon that has been needle felted using woollen fibres. This dragon is purple in colour with purple and gold wings and tail tip and has a flame emerging from his mouth. The body has been sculpted into shape using core wool and a barbed felting needle and the coloured top coat added. Purple felt has been used for the spines along his back. The wings and tail end have been made using a purple silk fabric overlaid with a gold coloured net. Black half pearls have been used for the eyes and a woollen "flame" has been made and placed in his mouth The dragon has been formed over a single piece of wire making him slightly poseable but care should be taken not to bend him too much as continuous movement may loosen the woollen fibres.
The dragon measures approximately 20cm (L) x 13cm (H) x 8cm (D) as posed. He is approximately 30cm in length from nose to tail.
Other colours available in my shop.
Please note: this is a collectable ornament. It is not intended as a toy. It contains wire and small parts that could cause a hazard to small children.
