Full description
Blackthorn walking stick, Hiking staff, Semi crook. Naturally formed handle, extra long. A long, slender Blackthorn staff with a naturally formed handle which is approximately 4 inches (10.5cm) long and between 1 18th inch (2.8cm) and 1 1/4 inch (3.2cm) diameter. Both ends grain is exposed. The staff is 50.5 inches (128cm) from the top of the handle, 7/8th inch (2.2cm) tapering to 3/4 inch (19mm) diameter at the tip, where a brass ferrule is fitted. This is a lightweight and slender staff (for Blackthorn). Sustainably harvested and seasoned for four years before being hand finished to reveal the natural beauty of the bark and patterns and colours within, then sealed using high gloss, polyurethane varnish.
