Harris Tweed is a very special fabric; in order to be certified genuine and granted the “Harris Tweed Orb symbol” it has to be
"Handwoven by the islanders at their homes in the Outer Hebrides, finished in the Outer Hebrides, and made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides."
In this ever-changing mass-produced world it is a joy to find something so traditional, truly handmade and sustainable.

This Harris tweed gift set is ideal for the man in your life. It features stylish handmade Harris tweed cufflinks for that special occasion, with a matching flex-top coin purse.
For the cufflinks, I have used plain orange design fabric on a round coppertone metal base, and covered with a glass cabochon. Both beautiful and useful, these cufflinks will be worn and cherished for years to come.
The flex top purse is a great way to hold change, and easy to fit into a pocket. Or keep it in the glove box for tolls and car-park charges. I have made this one from a brown and orange tartan design of the world renowned Harris tweed fabric for the outside, and a toning cotton fabric for the lining. It closes with a flex or spring top to keep your change safe; press the ends inwards and the middle springs open, release them and the top springs closed again. This purse measures approx. 10cm square.
These cufflinks are presented in a stylish black jewellery gift box, and the purse will arrive wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon. A wonderful little gift for those men in your life.
