Carnelian pieces are not a coomon find locally, but a few miles north of Withernsea there is a bay with the nickname of Carnelian bay and collectors do find plenty of raw stone there. This piece was a lot smoother than most of the pieces I have found and identified, and this type of setting was perfect to show it off. Enjoy!

Full description

The piece of carnelian (I believe) stone was collected from Withernsea beach in East Yorkshire and has not been tumbled or polished in any way. It measures 1.2cm in length, 0.8cm in depth and 0.7 across. The Sterling silver claw mount is an ideal way to use the more irregular shaped pieces I collect from the beach and shows this stone off perfectly, allowing light from all angles to show the colours off.

The chain is Sterling silver and is adjustable 18-20ins.

This piece willbe sent out using Royal Mail signed for 1st class large letter post.
