In October, the days become shorter and shadows become longer. As the seasons turn from summer to autumn, nature turns up the colour dial and I've used vivid pinks, crimsons and corals to celebrate the time of year. We bought this huge bunch of dahlias from our neighbours' honesty box. I love the black & white jug next to the intense colours.
