The Urban Ocean Collection is inspired by a recent trip to the beach, where pebbles are shaped by the water. However, living far from the sea means that my day to day inspiration comes from cityscapes: dark colours, concrete and man-made texture. These two ideas came together to create the Urban Ocean.

Full description
This necklace is handmade to order from sterling silver in my Stafford workshop. The silver I have used is eco-silver, which is recycled from old jewellery, giftware and electronics. Along with the eco-friendly packaging, this makes it a lovely sustainable gift for a loved one or for yourself!
To make this necklace I have hand formed, soldered, textured and polished the organic pebble shape pendant. I use an old hammer on the silver, which gives it an interesting aged texture. I like how this contrasts with the polished shine!
The necklace measures 18 inches in total length, and the chain is also made from sterling silver.
The organic shape measures approximately 2.8cm across.
