English Paper Piecing (EPP) patchwork is a perfect way to use up the scraps of fabric from previous projects as you only need very small pieces. These coaster are the perfect way to use the scraps that otherwise would end in the bin!

This set of four quilted coasters featuring beach huts and stars fabric are perfect for adding some sophisticated style to your summer drinks!
The coasters are approximately 12cm (4.5 inch), in a hexagonal shape and come as a set of four, beautifully tied with beige ribbon.
The front of the coasters are hand sewn using the English Paper Piecing (EPP) technique using scraps of fabric featuring beach huts and stars. There is a centre star of orange and yellow fabrics and 3 triangles in each corner, pointing into the star. They are quilted with an ecofriendly polyester wadding, made from recycled plastic bottles and are backed and bound with a light blue fabric.
All the cotton used is high quality quilting cotton. The coasters are quilted with a kite shape over the centre 4 point star and lines to follow the shape of the surrounding triangles.
I recommend surface wash only of these items, do not tumble dry.
