Full description
A puffin made using a needle felting technique. This puffin has been made using a core of white wool sculpted into shape using a barbed felting needle. Coloured woollen fibres have then been added to create the markings. The beak has been made from hand coloured silk clay. The puffin has been mounted on a small rustic wooden slice to aid stability.
This puffin measures approximately 20cm (8") from beak to tail, and the whole ornament stands approximately 15cm (6") tall.
Whilst this puffin model is fairly robust, he will not withstand constant handling or rough treatment and is not suitable as a toy.
